Social media app for innovation projects

For enterprises with extensive structures which operate globally, it is often hard to maintain an overview of all the startups and innovative inhouse projects in which they invest or which they are interested in.

Digiventus was part of creating a solution to this problem. The goal was to have all the information about startups and inhouse projects in one place and to encourage users to maintain the data and even discuss about the projects.

The result of the project was a hybrid mobile application with social media aspects. The app provided the typical master-detail functionality of a catalogue app. On top of that, users could rate and comment startups and innovative projects. Moreover, the status of the relationship between our customer and the startup could be seen at a glance.

The mobile client was rolled out via the corporate app store for both, iOS and Android.

The backend regularly syncs the app-specific database with existing on-premise solutions.

With the help of automated CI/CD pipelines code changes can easily be rolled out. Due to automated tests as part of the pipelines and additional environments for manual acceptance testing, most of the bugs don’t make it into the productive environment.
